Full material disclosure is the foundation of every US and Canada compliance file. We provide complete material declarations for every component in your silicone baby product.
Silicone Grade Declaration
100% food-grade LSR / HTV silicone with raw material supplier (Dow, Shin-Etsu, Wacker, KCC) specification sheets and FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 compliance letters.
Secondary Materials
PP, PA, TPE, stainless steel 304/316 -- full composition for overmolded or combination parts. Each sub-material carries its own compliance documentation.
Pigments & Additives
Food-contact grade colorants with heavy metal content certificates (Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr⁶⁺ below CPSIA limits of 100 ppm total lead).
Surface Treatment Materials
Spray paint, UV coating, silk-screen inks -- all with phthalate-free (DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIDP, DNOP ≤ 0.1%) and heavy metal declarations.

Test Sample Preparation.
We prepare and ship properly identified mass-production samples that match the final retail product in every material, finish, and packaging detail. Pre-production samples are not accepted by most accredited laboratories.
Golden Sample Approval
Signed-off reference matching final mass production in color, hardness, and surface.
Sufficient Quantity
Minimum 10-20 pcs per color/variant, plus 3 full retail packs for CPSIA tracking label verification.

Labeling & Packaging Documentation.
US and Canada have strict rules on tracking labels, choking hazard warnings, bilingual (English/French) requirements, and country-of-origin marks. We help you get every detail right.
CPSIA Tracking Labels
Manufacturer name, production location, batch/date code, cohort information -- permanently affixed to product and packaging per 15 U.S.C. § 2063(a)(5).
Choking Hazard & Age Warnings
16 CFR 1500.19 small parts warning statements, age grading, and ASTM F963 cautionary language integrated into artwork files.
Canada Bilingual Requirements
All safety warnings and product information prepared in both English and French per Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act.
Retail-Ready Packaging
UPC/EAN barcodes, country of origin "Made in China", retail shelf display requirements, FBA/Amazon prep compliance -- all handled factory-side.

Technical Documentation Package.
A complete, audit-ready technical file is required for customs clearance, Amazon submissions, and CPSC/Health Canada inquiries. YMS compiles the full dossier for every project.
Children's Product Certificate (CPC)
Required for every children's product imported to the US. We draft and support issuance using accredited lab reports.
General Certificate of Conformity (GCC)
For non-children's consumer products -- covers applicable 16 CFR regulations.
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Detailed material composition, supplier information, and part-by-part breakdown.
Test Reports & MSDS
Full laboratory reports, Material Safety Data Sheets, and raw material certificates from Dow, Shin-Etsu, Wacker.

Each major retailer adds its own vendor compliance program on top of federal regulations (e.g., Amazon's Children's Products requirement, Walmart's responsible sourcing policy).

California Prop 65 compliance required?
If selling in California, additional testing for 900+ listed chemicals and specific warning statements may be mandatory.

Designated testing laboratory preference?
If your brand works with a specific CPSC-accepted lab, we align documentation and samples to their protocols. Otherwise we recommend SGS or Intertek.

Importer of Record and CPC signatory?
The CPC must be issued by the US importer or domestic manufacturer. We provide the full technical support but the signing entity must be confirmed.

Expected production volume and timeline?
Typical compliance package (sample + testing + CPC drafting) requires 4-6 weeks. Larger first orders may require production-run periodic testing.
