01 Discovery Phase

Product Idea & Requirements Confirmation

Every successful product begins with clarity. We work closely with you to translate rough ideas, sketches or reference samples into a documented, measurable specification.

Brief Collection

Target market, target age group, retail price band, brand positioning, and reference products (images, sketches, or physical samples).

Technical Feasibility Review

Material selection (LSR / HTV silicone), safety compliance targets (FDA, LFGB, EN71), and process route (injection, overmolding, multi-material).

NDA & Requirement Sign-off

Mutual NDA signed, product requirements document (PRD) confirmed, and quotation baseline established for downstream stages.

03 Engineering Phase

Structural Engineering Stage

We convert the industrial design into manufacturable engineering drawings -- defining wall thickness, undercuts, assembly logic and part tolerances suited to silicone processing.

  • Detailed 2D/3D engineering drawings

Complete with GD&T, section views, and BOM.

  • Multi-material interface design

    Silicone-to-plastic or silicone-to-metal bonding logic.

  • Tolerance strategy

    Precision controlled within ±0.1 mm.

  • Safety-critical review

Small parts, choking hazards, and edge radius validated per EN71 / ASTM F963.

04 Feasibility Phase

DFM & Cost Evaluation

Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis flags production risks before tooling begins. Simultaneously we lock in a transparent cost structure so budgets stay predictable.

A

Moldability Analysis

Parting line, gate location, ejection strategy and flash risk reviewed.

B

Material Costing

Silicone grade, colorant, packaging, and post-processing itemized.

C

Cycle Time Modeling

Cavity count and cycle time simulated to hit MOQ economics.

D

Locked Quotation

Final unit price, tooling fee, and sample fee formalized in a signed PO.

05 Tooling Phase

Mold Design & Manufacturing

Precision molds are the heart of quality. Our in-house tool room builds durable, high-cavitation steel molds engineered for long production life.

Mold Steel S136 / NAK80 / P20
Cavities 1 → 32 cavity molds
Lead Time 25 - 35 days typical
Mold Life 500,000+ shots

06 Validation Phase

Sample Testing & Revisions

The first shots come off the mold -- we test rigorously and iterate quickly until every dimension, color and function meets your standard.

T1 First Trial

Initial Sample

First mold trial. Dimensional check, appearance review, and preliminary function test.

3 - 5 days
T2 Refinement

Mold Revision

Mold tuning based on feedback -- texture, gate marks, parting-line optimization.

5 - 7 days
T3 Certification

Testing & Compliance

Third-party lab tests: tensile, aging, tear resistance, FDA & LFGB verification.

"The signed golden sample becomes the quality benchmark for every unit in mass production."

07 Approval Phase

Sample Sign-off & Pre-production

Once the sample is perfect, we seal a "golden sample" as the reference standard. Production plans, raw material orders and packaging suppliers are then activated.

01

Golden Sample Sealed & Photographed

Referenced by QC for every future batch.

02

Production Schedule Confirmed
