The Challenge
The client's existing PP bottle was failing drop tests in cold conditions and showed hairline cracks after repeated sterilization. They needed a 100% food-grade silicone bottle, with a wide-neck opening, that could survive 500+ sterilization cycles while maintaining a premium soft-touch feel.
The Goal
- 01Develop a one-piece silicone bottle body with ±0.1mm precision at the thread.
- 02Achieve FDA, LFGB, and EN 14350 certification before mass production.
- 03Deliver a stable 120,000 unit / month output with ≤0.3% defect rate.
- 04Launch to EU retail within 90 days of design freeze.
