Silicone Raw Material
Inspection
Every production run starts here. YMS enforces a rigorous ten-stage inspection protocol on all incoming silicone compounds, pigments, and auxiliary components -- ensuring 100% food-grade safety before any material enters the production line.
10-Stage
Inspection Protocol
Comprehensive verification from supplier docs to warehouse approval.
Food Grade
Supplier & Material Document Verification
Before any raw material enters our facility, our QC team cross-checks supplier qualifications and certification files against the purchase order and customer specifications.
COA / MSDS
Certificate of Analysis and Material Safety Data Sheet verification for every batch.
FDA / LFGB
Food contact compliance certificates matched against intended product application.
RoHS / REACH
Environmental compliance verified for every incoming silicone compound.
Supplier Audit
Approved vendor list maintained with annual on-site audits and traceability records.
±0.1mm
Dimensional tolerance guaranteed through controlled raw material consistency.
Silicone Raw Material Batch Inspection
Each incoming batch is sampled using statistical AQL methods. Our QC technicians verify shipment integrity, lot numbers, packaging seals, and quantities against the supplier's declared specification.
Lot Number & Traceability Check
Each roll or bag tagged with unique traceability ID linking back to supplier batch.
Packaging & Seal Integrity
Inspect for moisture damage, broken seals, or signs of contamination during transit.
Weight & Quantity Verification
Cross-check against purchase order and supplier packing list before unloading.
Color & Appearance Confirmation
We compare incoming silicone against approved Pantone references and master samples under standardized D65 lighting to ensure visual consistency across every production run.
Pantone Matching
Color codes verified against approved Pantone chips under standardized light booths.
Surface Inspection
No impurities, bubbles, foreign particles, or cross-contamination within the compound.
Texture & Finish
Matte, gloss, and tactile properties checked against master reference sample.
Material Performance Verification
Beyond paperwork, every batch undergoes physical and chemical lab testing. Our in-house equipment validates mechanical, thermal, and safety performance before release to production.
01
Tensile Strength
Elongation and break-point testing per ASTM D412 standard.
02
Hardness (Shore A)
Durometer measurement to confirm compound specification.
03
Tear Resistance
High-stress tear strength ensures long-term product durability.
04
Aging & Heat Resistance
Simulated life-cycle under high/low temperature cycling.
05
Impact Testing
Drop and compression tests to verify toughness.
06
Odor & Taste Test
Sensory QA confirms food-safe neutrality for baby products.
07
Humidity Resistance
Constant-humidity chamber tests for dimensional stability.
08
Migration / Extractables
Volatile and extractable substance analysis per FDA/LFGB.
Plastic & Metal Parts Inspection
For multi-material products -- such as silicone overmolded onto PP, PET, or stainless steel -- all auxiliary components are inspected independently before assembly.
Plastic Components
PP, PET, Tritan and PCTG parts verified for food-grade compliance, dimensional accuracy, and surface integrity. BPA-free certification required for all plastics touching food.
Metal Components
Stainless steel (304/316), aluminum, and specialty alloys tested for corrosion resistance, surface polish, and heavy metal content compliance.
Adhesives & Coatings
Food-safe adhesives, inks, and surface coatings verified for migration safety and bonding strength on overmolded joints.
Non-Conforming Material Isolation
Materials that fail any inspection stage are immediately quarantined. Our Non-Conforming Material (NCM) procedure prevents suspect batches from ever reaching the production floor.
Red-Tag Quarantine
Immediate physical isolation in a dedicated NCM zone.
Deviation Report
Full documentation of failure mode, root cause, and supplier notification.
Return or Rework
Non-conforming lots returned to supplier or scrapped per customer agreement.
Warehouse Approval Process
Only after passing all inspection stages do materials receive the green-tag for warehouse entry. A controlled four-step flow ensures full accountability.
QC Final Sign-off
Senior QC inspector reviews all test reports and approves release.
Green-Tag Issued
Approved materials receive serialized green tag with batch ID and date.
Warehouse Entry
Material moved to climate-controlled storage with FIFO rotation logic.
ERP System Update
Digital inventory record created with full traceability chain.
Material Batch Records
Every approved batch is logged in our digital traceability system. Customers can request complete material history for any production run -- from supplier shipment to finished goods.
