From First Sample to
Flawless Mass Output.
A transparent, documented approval workflow that bridges prototype confirmation and large-scale manufacturing -- ensuring every unit matches the signed golden sample.
Golden Sample
Protocol
Every batch verified against the client-signed master reference.
Full Inspection
Four Pillars of Sample Evaluation.
Every prototype is assessed against a structured criteria matrix covering material integrity, dimensional accuracy, visual finish, and functional performance.
Material Safety
100% food-grade silicone, FDA/LFGB verified, free of BPA, phthalates and harmful substances.
Dimensional
CMM-verified tolerances within ±0.1mm against engineering drawings and 3D files.
Appearance
Color-matched against Pantone, inspected for flash, parting lines, bubbles, and surface finish.
Functionality
Tensile, tear, aging, and impact tested -- real-use scenarios simulated for durability.
Dimension. Appearance. Function.
Each sample is cross-validated across three independent dimensions. Clients receive a complete sample inspection report with photos, measurement data, and functional test outcomes before approval.
Dimensional Confirmation
Comprehensive CMM measurement against CAD files. Critical dimensions logged in a FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) and signed by both parties.
Appearance Confirmation
Pantone matching, surface finish evaluation (matte/glossy), and defect classification (A/B/C face). Visual limit samples established for mass production reference.
Functional Confirmation
Real-use scenarios validated -- flow rate for nipples, suction strength for bowls, bite resistance for teethers. Reports include tensile, tear, and aging data.
Client Revision Handling.
Feedback is treated as a structured engineering process -- tracked, versioned, and signed off at every iteration until the sample meets your standard.
Feedback Receipt
Logged in a structured ECR (Engineering Change Request) within 24h.
Impact Analysis
Engineering team evaluates tooling, cost, and timeline impact.
Revised Sample
New iteration produced with revision log and version number.
Re-approval
Client re-inspects and signs the next revision until approved.
The Final Signed Sample.
Once all revisions are resolved, both parties sign the final sample -- the "Golden Sample" -- which becomes the single source of truth for every unit produced in mass manufacturing.
- Dual-signed sample sealed with tamper-evident labels
- One retained by client, one archived at factory QC lab
- Complete inspection report attached as technical annex
- Serves as legally binding reference for all future batches
Sample Approval Certificate
Golden Sample #GS-2024
& SEALED
Production File Freeze.
After sample approval, all technical documents are version-locked. No changes can be made without a formal ECR, protecting your product integrity from unauthorized modifications.
Engineering Drawings
2D/3D CAD files, dimensional callouts, and tolerance specifications locked in version control.
BOM & Materials
Bill of materials, silicone grade, hardness (Shore A), colorants, and supplier lot numbers.
Mold & Tooling
Tool numbers, cavity layouts, injection parameters, and preventive maintenance schedule.
Inspection SOP
Standardized operating procedures, AQL levels, and visual limit sample references.
Packaging Spec
Primary/secondary packaging, labeling artwork, barcodes, and carton configurations.
All Files Locked
Version-controlled vault with role-based access. Any change requires ECR & dual sign-off.
Raw Material & Production Prep.
Before mass production begins, every input is validated -- materials, molds, machines, operators and inspection equipment are all aligned to the signed golden sample.
Material Validation
RoHS & REACH certified silicone, batch-tested on arrival.
Incoming Material QC
Each silicone lot verified for hardness, viscosity, and chemical composition before release.
Mold Verification
Tool refurbishment, cavity cleaning, and trial injection to confirm readiness.
Machine Setup
Parameters replicated from approved sample run -- temperature, pressure, curing time.
Operator Briefing
QC team walks through SOP, limit samples, and critical control points with line operators.
First Batch Confirmation.
The first production batch is treated as a verification run -- rigorously compared against the golden sample to confirm the line is calibrated and output is consistent.
Pilot Run Execution
A limited-quantity pilot (typically 100-500 units) is produced using the finalized tooling and parameters, mimicking full-scale conditions.
Comparative Inspection
Units are evaluated against the golden sample across all dimensional, visual, and functional criteria. Deviations are logged and addressed.
Client Pre-Shipment Sample
Pilot samples sent to the client for final sign-off before scaling to full mass production volumes.
Pilot KPI Target
Batch Quality Benchmark.
Every mass production batch is benchmarked against the signed golden sample and the pilot run baseline. Statistical process control (SPC) is used to detect drift and maintain long-term consistency across shipments.
AQL Sampling (ISO 2859)
Statistical sampling per batch -- Critical 0, Major 2.5, Minor 4.0 -- ensuring compliant quality distribution.
Visual Limit Samples
Approved "Pass/Reject" limit samples displayed at every QC station to standardize operator judgment.
In-Process Audits
Hourly IPQC checks on dimension, color, and defect rate. Trending data reviewed in daily production meetings.
Batch Retention
Retention samples archived from each batch for 24 months -- enabling full traceability and dispute resolution.
Pre-Shipment Final Inspection
Independent QA team performs final full inspection, issuing shipment release certificate with batch report.
