Step 01

Drawings, Samples & Requirements.

Every project begins with understanding. We accept 2D/3D drawings, physical samples, hand sketches, or verbal concepts -- and translate them into manufacturable mold specifications.

2D / 3D Drawings

STEP, IGES, STL, DWG, PDF formats accepted with NDA protection.

Physical Samples

Reverse-engineered through 3D scanning for exact dimensional capture.

Concept Sketches

Hand drawings or ideas developed into full engineering drawings by our team.

NDA & IP Protection

Confidentiality agreements signed before any file exchange or review.

Step 02

Mold Type Selection.

The right molding process defines product quality, cost, and production efficiency. We help you choose between solid and liquid silicone tooling based on part geometry and volume targets.

01

Solid Silicone (HTV) Compression Molds

Ideal for pacifiers, teethers, bibs, and larger structural parts. Cost-effective for medium runs with excellent surface finish options.

  • Single / multi-cavity designs
  • P20 / S136 / NAK80 steels
  • 500,000+ shot lifespan
02

Liquid Silicone (LSR) Injection Molds

Perfect for high-precision, high-volume parts: bottle nipples, soft valves, complex geometries, and overmolded components.

  • Cold runner / fully automated
  • Micro-tolerance, flash-free
  • Overmolding (silicone + plastic/metal)
Step 03

Mold Structure & Cavity Planning.

Engineering optimal cavity layout, gating, venting, and cooling to balance cycle time, part quality, and tooling cost -- tailored to your annual volume projection.

Cavity Count Analysis

Volume forecast drives 1-cavity, 4-cavity, 8-cavity, or 16+ cavity decisions for optimal unit economics.

B

Gating & Runner Design

Hot runner, cold runner, pin-point, or submarine gate selection to minimize witness marks on visible surfaces.

C

Ejection & Parting Lines

Strategic parting line placement and ejection method to preserve aesthetic quality on consumer-facing surfaces.

D

Cooling & Venting

Balanced cooling channels and micro-venting ensure dimensional stability and consistent curing cycles.

Step 04

Mold Design Review.

A rigorous multi-stage review process involving our engineering team and your technical representatives -- ensuring every detail is validated before steel is cut.

DFM Analysis

Design for Manufacturing report highlighting wall thickness, undercuts, draft angles, and shrinkage compensation.

Mold Flow Simulation

Virtual filling, packing, and warpage prediction using Moldflow to pre-empt defects before machining.

Client Sign-Off

Formal written approval of final 3D mold design, material specs, and projected lifespan before fabrication begins.

Step 05

Mold Machining & Assembly.

State-of-the-art CNC, EDM, and precision grinding deliver mold components with sub-micron accuracy. Expert fitters assemble, polish, and dry-cycle test each tool.

Step 06

Trial Molding & Revisions.

T1, T2, T3 trial shots validate the mold against your product specification. Any required modifications are refined until first-article approval is achieved.

T1

First Trial Shot

Initial sample production, full dimensional and functional inspection against drawings.

T2

Adjustment Trial

Minor cavity adjustments, gate repositioning, or surface refinements performed and re-tested.

T3

Validation Trial

Final verification run, performance tests (tensile, aging, tear) submitted with sample set.

First Article Approval

Signed client approval of samples triggers transition into mass production.

Step 07

Mold Confirmation & Ownership.

Clear documentation of mold ownership, specifications, and intellectual property rights. Transparent terms protect your investment and brand.

Mold Ownership Certificate

Formal document confirming client owns tooling after full payment.

Full Technical Documentation

Mold drawings, steel certs, cavity ID, and inspection reports.

IP & Confidentiality

NDA ensures designs are never shared or used for other clients.

Step 08

Mold Maintenance & Storage.

Protect your tooling investment with a scheduled maintenance program and climate-controlled long-term storage facility.

Scheduled Servicing

Routine cleaning, lubrication, and inspection every production cycle to extend mold life.

Climate-Controlled Storage

Rust-proof packaging and humidity-controlled warehouse for molds in dormancy periods.

Lifecycle Logs

Digital tracking of shot count, service history, and remaining useful life for every mold.

Repair & Refurbishment

In-house re-polishing, insert replacement, and cavity restoration to prolong tool lifespan.

Shot Count Monitoring

Automatic counters inform proactive maintenance before any quality drift occurs.

Dormant Mold Protocol

Molds inactive beyond 90 days receive deep cleaning and anti-corrosion treatment before storage.

Step 09 -- Start Your Project

Submit Mold Requirements.

Share your drawings, samples, or specifications. Our engineering team will respond within 24 hours with feasibility review and preliminary quotation.
